Why Is It Worth Reading It?
This book defines the concept of identity and diaspora on the basis of the research of various immigrant groups (Jewish, Cuban, Kurdish, etc.). The main focus here is Lithuanian immigration to the United States as well as the differences and similarities between immigration vawes. In the second part of the book one can find 28 honest conversations with Lithianian Americans living in Chicago who openly talk about their experiences.
